Didn't stay here, but.had an aperitivo and dinner. The views are absolutely breathtaking. Front desk staff were wonderful. Staff at the restaurant were mostly excellent, with one gruff character. Drinks were perfectly executed. Food was very good, but prices were high, especially taking quality into account, and wine prices were double those of other local establishments. I guess that's what you pay for 1* adjacency. A nice experience on the whole.

Amazing cocktails and breathtaking views. The staff was welcoming and kind. We did not stay at the whole but enjoyed two wonderful evenings on their patio over looking the coastline.

I can’t comment on the hotel itself since we only had dinner here, but during our three week honeymoon this was by far the worst dinner we had. The service was horrible. We waited for 45 minutes to order our food and wine. It took another 25 minutes for them to bring our wine out. They kept the wine on a shelf away from our table so my husband had to keep getting up to pour for us because they did not top up our glasses. I ordered fried calamari in a lemon sauce, I received a soy sauce with a side of lemons - for 40 euros. My husband's steak was over cooked and his vegetables were mushy.

Dreadful experience at Palazzo Avino! I would not normally write a review, but my partner and I had such a poor experience, I had to warn you all. We brought our service animal who is a small 48 lb (22kg) golden retriever and our overnight stay generally went without issue, although the staff were cold and they couldn't supply a clothing steamer as the hotel only had one. As soon as we, however, checked out, we were kicked out of the hotel. Why you may ask? We wished to stick around to enjoy the property but were told from the reservation's manager that we were not allowed to remain on the grounds because of our "large" dog, citing safety concerns for the owner's small dachshund. Keep in mind that trained service animals are viewed as assistive technology/medical equipment, not as a pet. We were told that they "made an exception and that the dog could only remain in the room during the stay," which they did not communicate up until we checked out. As my service animal this also meant that I technically would have to remain in the room as well or else risk being without my service animal. Our pleas for their understanding did not make any difference to the staff as despite our service animal being professionally trained, having the kindest demeanor and being on a leash at all times, we were not allowed to stay on the premises. We suspect that the owner's dog could be the one causing safety concerns as he barked incessantly in a back room when they noticed our service animal. This hotel's practices are very concerning and we can only hope that the hotel's management takes this accessibility issue seriously and does not further discriminate against those with disabilities.

Fabulous stay with an amazing view, friendly and personable staff, and the right balance of basic amenities. Rooms were comfortable and quiet. Roof top hot tub at night is as enjoyable as it gets and the beach "club house" was very pleasant. Plan to get a leg workout wherever you go as you are on the side of a mountain. If you are with guests who are elderly or not in good shape, Ravello (or any of the hill towns) on the coast might not be the place for you. For everyone else, it's unbelievably beautiful and should be on your bucket list.

We had the most glorious stay at Palazzo Avino, we had dinner on the first night at Rosselinis which was exceptional. The hotel staff, the restaurant/breakfast staff are all wonderful, friendly and cheerful. They were also very accommodating to our dietary requirements. Antonio at the front desk is brilliant he recommended great spots nearby for us to eat at, as well as booking our taxis for our visits to the nearby towns. The hotel is a dream, so picturesque and beautiful, even better in person than pictures online. We had the most divine stay and their beach club is truly one of the best if not the best on the Amalfi Coast, it’s quiet, serine, exclusive and has exceptional service with the clearest waters to swim in. Thank you to all at Palazzo Avino we hope to be back soon Warm regards The Kallas

A dying star offering 2 star service and 5 star views. Overall very disappointed and regret staying here with so many other incredible places in town. Appears their Michelin rating was from 2007 and with the failing pool tile and service it shows its age. Antonio was aggressive with my wife at first about transportation making our initial moment here very unpleasant. Second, after requesting an early checkin they seemingly forgot about us and never alerted us to our room being ready. After a reminder about 30mins before checkin we were escorted to a room that was clearly not ours with another guests luggage. After standing in the hallways for several mins they found our bags and escorted us to our room. The walls were thin where you can hear ever flush of the toilet and conversation in the hall. The beds were two twins pushed together. The tub required a large step up and was difficult to maneuver, the first place we felt fall alert pull string was necessary. Finally making it to the pool, and ordering a €40 Cesar salad and ice tea, the age continue to show with a cracked glass leaking our precious tea onto the table. If you do find yourself here, make sure to use the pool girl services (who were incredibly friendly and attentive) and to make an early reservation down to the beach club for the best seats and a swim in the ocean. The hot tub on the roof was apparently a secret with no staff mentioning this and no other guest in sight. All of this was a blessing at the end of the day forcing us to leave the resort and really take in the town. Neighboring hotels and businesses were incredibly helpful and polite as we dined and explored. I would recommend only visiting for the martini bar as you can avoid the displeasures of the resort and take in beautiful views with a posh drink.

Palazzo Avino is an absolute gem nestled on the Amalfi Coast. The service here is impeccable; the staff is attentive, friendly, and genuinely cares about ensuring your stay is perfect. The attention to detail in the decor and the luxurious amenities were remarkable. The Michelin-starred dining experience at Rossellini's was a culinary journey we won't forget, and the hotel's terrace bar is a fantastic spot for an aperitivo. Our stay at Palazzo Avino was an absolute dream, and we can't wait to return to this paradise on the Amalfi Coast.
